Akiva School Clubs DATES: Quarter 3 – January 16th through March 17th, unless otherwise noted; Quarter 4 – March 20-May 19, unless otherwise noted

We offer a variety of after school clubs and experiences in the areas of the arts, sports, and curiosity. These include, but are not limited to:

HOMEWORK CLUB
Led by teachers Kelly Love and Ellen Cloyd, Akiva Homework Club offers each student the opportunity to complete homework in a quiet and orderly setting. Students will have access to computers, internet, timers, school supplies, reference materials, and support all in one place. Each session starts with a helpful Homework Tip. FITNESS & ALL SPORTS CLUB
Led by Coach Emma Cribb, Akiva Fitness and All Sports Club offers students the opportunity to run and play while becoming stronger and more fit. Participants must wear proper fitness shoes and comfortable clothing for outdoors. For registration information, please contact marilyn@akivanashville.net.

LEGO CLUB
Led by Ms. Marilyn, our LEGO™ Club offers students an hour of supervised play with a wide and ever expanding variety of building materials and sets. Mix of themed projects, free building, and set building. We place an emphasis on collaboration and cooperation as well as problem solving and building skills. Includes occasional building related craft activities, trade opportunities, and small giveaways. For registration information, please contact marilyn@akivanashville.net.

CRAFT CLUB
Led by Ms. Marilyn, Akiva’s Craft Club offers students an introduction to a wide variety of fun and decorative craft projects. Finished works can be taken home to enjoy or given as gifts. Projects can be scaled for various levels of ability. Includes ongoing instruction in simple jewelry making, quarterly tie-dye sessions, access to a wide variety of materials, and safe storage space for works in progress. TINY TOY TUESDAY
Led by Ms. Marilyn, Tiny Toy Tuesday offers students an hour of imaginative and social play with a large variety of miniature and dollhouse-related toys. SABABA
Led by Amy Newell, Sababa is our singing group. Come rock with Sababa as we learn fun, hip Jewish songs and perform in the community. For registration information, please contact marilyn@akivanashville.net.
