Michal Zidkyahu

Judaic Studies and Hebrew Teacher

Michal was born and raised in Israel. She received her B.A. in Psychology, Criminology and Sociology, from Bar-Ilan University, and her M.A. in Expressive Arts Therapies, from Lesley University, Boston.  She lived in NYC for 10 years, where she worked with families from at risk communities, across the city boroughs, as well as taught Hebrew and JS at Solomon Shechter School of Manhattan.  After moving to Nashville, Michal joined the Akiva team, wanting to take part in and support the process of building an academically, and emotionally strong future Jewish community.
