Kelly Love

3rd Grade General Studies

Kelly Love was born in Michigan, but spent most of her childhood in El Paso, Tx. She has a wide range of teaching experience that includes traditional, charter and private schools. She started as reading specialist in Texas where she trained teachers in Reader’s and Writer’s Workshop as part of a district mandate. In 2007, she moved to the Nashville area and worked as a language arts teacher and reading coach at a charter middle school. Mrs. Love is currently a third grade teacher at Akiva School and is excited for the opportunity to take part in authentic teaching with deep meaning. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, walking her two dogs, reading a good book and relaxing to a movie.
