Akiva Cares
For 3rd through 6th graders. Join Miss Kerr and Mrs. Levy in a variety of community service projects, as well as visits to local assisted living facilities. It will be a great opportunity to spend more time with your friends as you help others! No cost for this club. Club meets every Thursday from 3:45 to 4:45. Our thanks to the Jewish Foundation of Nashville for sponsoring this club! Cost: Free
Sababa
Akiva’s newest musical group is back and better than ever! Come rock with us as we learn hip Jewish songs. We will put on an amazing performance for our families, friends and community institutions. We will meet on Wednesdays until 4:30 p.m. Cost: $75
Math Club
The club will focus on helping students think through the process of problem solving. The intent is not to teach additional math skills, but rather to help students learn to apply the skills that they already know to challenging problems.
5th and 6th graders: For those of you who have participated in our math contest in prior years - or who would like to participate this year - this club will do an excellent job preparing you to succeed at the contest (and more importantly, to better understand problem solving techniques.) Mondays until 4:45. Cost: $45 (This club has been generously subsidized by an anonymous donor.)

Drama Club
The Drama club will be offered by Mrs. Hosey on Tuesdays. We will practice and perform monologues, one act plays, and perhaps even some musical theatre. Now is your chance to overcome your stage fright and shine like the star you are! This is for 3rd-6th graders on Tuesdays until 4:45. Cost: $75
Video Production Club
Students will have a chance to produce their own videos. We will brainstorm interesting video ideas and then students will script, film, edit and create digital DVD projects. Students will have full use of the Akiva news studio which is equipped with a telepromptoer, video cameras, a digital camera, eMacs and more. 6th graders (8 student limit). Wednesdays 3:30-4:30.

Fitness Club
Please note: Club registrations will not be accepted without payment. Additionally, we are unable to accept registrations from students who have not paid their club bills from prior quarters.
